What a computer tune-up can involve

Depending on what I find, I can remove unwanted programs with your agreement, reduce unnecessary startup apps, clear suitable temporary files and review storage use. I also check for signs of other causes, such as limited memory or a storage problem. A cleanup can help some computers, but it won’t resolve every performance issue.

Is it worth upgrading an older computer?

Sometimes an upgrade can make an older computer more practical to use. Other times, spending money on it may offer limited benefit. I can explain its condition, what is affecting performance and the available options so you can decide what suits your needs.

Will deleting files make my computer faster?

It can help if storage is nearly full, but having lots of saved files doesn’t automatically make a computer slow. The useful first step is finding what is actually limiting performance.
